The Municipality submission process is all done via an online internet portal now. So we will provide all the  digital forms to complete, and submit these on your behalf. We also have a  consultant that handles AMAFA Heritage Council applications for houses older than 60yrs.  We deal with all referrals or queries by the Municipality until such time as your plan is 100% approved and ready.  We unfortunately cannot say how long a plan will take to complete the approval process.  We have no control over the Municipality, it’s staff, or it’s processes. 

Additional documents for submission purposes will be required from you, the client, and are required by the Municipality at time of submission. These include Engineers appointment forms and/or reports depending on the project itself.  You can appoint your own Engineer or we can refer one to you. We will also require a copy of your Title Deed and a copy of your latest eThekwini Metro invoice. Each owner listed on the Title Deed will be required to sign the submission forms we provide and the plan.
